Just for fun, let's try some doggie inky-pinky's. You know inky-pinky's. They're a pair of rhyming words (noun and adjective) for which the definition is supplied for you, and you guess the rhyme. For example, "A BRUIN'S SEATS" are BEAR'S CHAIRS or a "BLONDE BRUIN" is a FAIR BEAR.
These inky-pinky's will be all about dogs--breeds or groups--and may be one, two or three syllables.
- There may be abbreviated forms of the breed name (i.e. "lab" short for Labrador, but not unusual forms such as "labby".).
- "Group Dog" means the answer is the name of a Group (i.e. Sporting, Non-sporting, Hound, Terrier, Toy, Working or Herding).
- While naming a group in the definition (i.e. ...herding dog...) means that the answer is a specific breed within that group.
- There may be more than one "correct" answer that fits the definition. If you come up with one that you think fits, send it in and we'll list it on our answer page.
Have fun and send us your own Doggie Inky-Pinky's (and their answers) and we'll include them on the list.
