A song about Taku, a Chesapeake Bay Retriever who loves his Kong...

Where's Chesachobeeville?
Chesachobeeville is based on a real place in Southeast Alaska, within the Borough Of Juneau, called the "Mendenhall Wetlands". I renamed it because it was Taku's "place" and Taku is from the Chesachobee line of Chessies. Hence, Chesachobeeville. It is a dyke road, with tidal beach on one side and fresh water ponds on the other side. It is a perfect place to exercise and train a young male Chessie and incredibly beautiful too! Doreen and Taku used to walk the three mile round trip daily, during the three years they lived here, no matter what the weather. They knew almost every person and dog on the road.

Taku's favorite retrieve object is a rubber kong tug toy on a rope which he is simply nuts over. But every once in awhile he would lose it....
